Florida Executes Curtis Beasley, 77, for 1995 Hammer Killing

Florida executed 77-year-old Curtis Wilkie Beasley by lethal injection on September 29, 2026. He was pronounced dead at 6:12 p.m. at Florida State Prison near Starke. Beasley had been convicted of first-degree murder, a planned intentional killing, for the August 1995 hammer killing of Carolyn Monfort at her Dundee home south of Orlando.
