Senator mixes up his team name, then fixes it

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman slipped up Sept. 26 at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin. Asked why he hasn't become an independent, meaning not on either major team, he said, 'Because I'm a lifelong Republican.' Interviewer Major Garrett said 'Democrat,' and Fetterman laughed: 'I'm a lifelong Democrat. That'll get clipped.'
