Police investigate possible Iran link in RAF Fairford arrests

British counter-terrorism police are examining whether Iran or another foreign state was behind an alleged plot at RAF Fairford, a British base used by US forces, after five British nationals from London were arrested nearby early on 27 September. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio attributed it to a foreign actor. All five are on bail but still under investigation.
