Yemen's Leader Asks People to Join Army to Win Back Capital

Yemen's council leader Rashad al-Alimi, in a Friday broadcast, urged Yemenis to join Saudi-supported government forces and promised forgiveness for Houthi fighters who quit, to win back the capital Sanaa, taken by the Houthis in 2014. It was his first speech since troops left the western Red Sea coast to stop Houthi advances toward Bab al-Mandeb, a narrow sea passage.
