The Nasdaq rose 2.26% on Sept. 21, 2026, Reuters reported. Yet Reuters counted 127 stocks hitting new lows versus just 64 at new highs — lows meaning their cheapest price recently. For index-fund savers, I'm cautious: a few big winners can push the average up while most companies are still struggling.
