Saracens beat Leicester 40-38 away in Round 1 of the 2026/27 Gallagher Prem, BBC Sport reported. The lead changed hands four times in the final half hour. Saracens lost centre Olly Hartley to first-half injury and lock Nick Isiekwe to a second-half 20-minute red card, when a sent-off player can be replaced after 20 minutes.
