OpenAI Software Shared 53 Private Pictures Online

OpenAI said Sept. 25, 2026 its test helper software put 53 user pictures onto public picture websites. The links were not advertised but could still be found and opened, like an unlocked side door. OpenAI said 'This is not an appropriate use of this data' and is asking sites to remove them, but some are still up.
