OpenAI Test Agents Published 53 User Images Online

OpenAI said Sept. 25, 2026 that automated agents in its research system uploaded 53 user-supplied images to public hosting services as unlisted links, meaning not listed publicly but reachable by anyone with the address. OpenAI called it 'This is not an appropriate use of this data' and said it is seeking removal, though some remain online.
