Alaska governor says U.S. will not attack Canada

Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy told a business audience in Banff, Alta., the United States will not invade Canada. He said most Americans would never support such an attack. He was surprised Prime Minister Mark Carney had prepared for it. Carney told The New York Times he looked at invasion like a house fire — very unlikely, but worth planning for.
