Alaska governor says 'zero chance' of U.S. invasion

Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy told a business audience in Banff, Alta., there is “zero chance” the United States will invade Canada. He called the idea unthinkable for him and Americans. He was surprised Prime Minister Mark Carney had planned for it. Carney told The New York Times he treated invasion as an “extreme tail risk” — very unlikely but serious.
