Computers helped write what MPs said in Ottawa

One in five words spoken by MPs, the elected members in Ottawa's House of Commons, were written with help from artificial intelligence, like a computer drafting assistant. The Economist reported Sept. 25, 2026, using Pangram checking software. It looked at speeches, questions, replies and other comments since September 2025.
