One-fifth of MPs' Commons words written with AI help

One-fifth of words spoken by MPs in the House of Commons in the year since September 2025 were written with AI help, according to a Sept. 25, 2026 analysis by The Economist using detection tool Pangram. It covered speeches, questions, replies and other interventions.
