Syria's Leader Returns to New York for UN Meeting

Syria's president, Ahmed al-Sharaa, returned to New York on Sept. 22 for the United Nations' 81st yearly meeting of countries, Syria's official news agency said. He sat in on the opening meeting. On Sept. 23 he is set to give Syria's speech and talk with other leaders, suggesting Syria wants regular, normal relations.
