Syria's al-Sharaa Returns to UN, Scheduled to Address General Debate Sept. 23

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa returned to New York Sept. 22 for the 81st UN General Assembly, Syria's state news agency reported. He attended the opening session and is scheduled to deliver Syria's address during the General Debate on Sept. 23 and hold talks with world leaders. Further appearances would suggest Damascus seeks routine diplomacy.
