U.S. says Iranian planes may be stopped Sept. 23

All Iranian airlines will stop flying Sept. 23, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Sept. 21. He told CNBC any foreign business that helps them — with fuel, landing spots, or selling tickets — could be blocked from using U.S. dollars, like losing a bank account. The idea seems to be forcing foreign airports and companies to follow U.S. rules.
