Carney proposes global board to set AI rules

Prime Minister Mark Carney has raised the idea of a global technology stability board — an international body to set rules for artificial intelligence — with other leaders, Artificial Intelligence Minister Evan Solomon said Sept. 23. Solomon said he followed up with foreign counterparts. Canada is working with partners on AI safety, he said.
