Singapore startup raises $12M to help make thinner computer chips

Nexstrom raised a $12 million seed round from Xora, Foothill Ventures and SEEDS, bringing total funding to $15 million. The Singapore company, incubated by Xora Innovation, builds machines and methods to make ultra-thin chip materials, like a one-atom coat of paint, directly on the silicon discs that factories use to mass-produce chips.
