Author claims lobby group ads helped the right in 2023

Nicky Hager claims in his book Dirty Work that lobby group the Taxpayers' Union paid millions for advertising that helped right-wing parties at the 2023 election. He claims ACT leader David Seymour and National leader Christopher Luxon spoke against Māori policies to gain votes. The claims are Hager's and are untested.
