Hager claims Taxpayers' Union spending pushed 2023 vote right

In his book Dirty Work, Nicky Hager claims the Taxpayers' Union organised a campaign worth millions that helped push the 2023 election towards right-wing parties. He claims ACT leader David Seymour and National leader Christopher Luxon leaned into criticism of Māori policy to win votes. The claims are Hager's and are untested.
