New Building Canada Strong Act aims to reduce strikes, build faster

Mark Carney's government introduced the Building Canada Strong Act on Sept. 21 as MPs returned from summer break. The bill aims to reduce strikes in workplaces controlled by Ottawa and to approve large projects faster. Normally, rules for workers and approvals for projects are handled separately, with Ottawa and the provinces each doing their own part.
