Ministers say no to easier sea rules for carbon tests

Ministers have said no to start-up Gigablue, which wanted easier rules for testing how to store carbon in the ocean area New Zealand manages, RNZ reported. It wanted research tests allowed without permission, and commercial projects approved without public input. Ministers said there was not yet strong proof the changes were needed.
