Two Ukrainian Spy Agencies Trade Gunfire in Kyiv

Two of Ukraine's own spy agencies shot at each other in central Kyiv on September 3, 2026. One agency, the SBU, arrested a Russian citizen fighting on Ukraine's side for the other agency, HUR. The SBU says he was secretly working for Russia; HUR and the man's lawyer call the arrest illegal and his filmed confession forced. Three HUR officers were hurt. Zelenskyy ordered an investigation.
