Judge warns of copycat risk after teenager stabs teacher in Wales

A 16-year-old boy was sent to youth detention for four and a half years for stabbing teacher Vicki Williams in the head at Milford Haven school in February 2026. Judge Thomas KC warned others might copy the attack. This was the second stabbing of a teacher by a minor in south-west Wales in two years; in 2024, a 14-year-old girl received 15 years for trying to kill two teachers and a pupil.
