Judge warns of copycat risk after second teacher stabbing by a minor in south-west Wales

A 16-year-old boy was sentenced to four and a half years in youth detention for stabbing teacher Vicki Williams in the head with a kitchen knife at Milford Haven school in February 2026. Judge Thomas KC warned of possible copycat attacks, noting this was the second such stabbing by a minor in south-west Wales in two years. In 2024, a 14-year-old girl received 15 years for attempting to murder two teachers and a pupil.
