Baby's body found in Auburn bin; police urge mother to get help

A newborn baby boy was found dead in a rubbish bin on Harrow Road, Auburn, Sydney, on 31 August 2026. Police are worried about the mother's health and are asking her to go to a hospital right away. They do not know where she is. Police also want any video footage people may have from the area.
