Haiku OS now runs Firefox for the first time

Haiku, a free desktop operating system inspired by the 1990s BeOS, released its beta6 update on August 26, 2026. For the first time, Mozilla Firefox works on it. The team fixed over 530 issues after a two-year gap. Running a major browser shows Haiku's internal foundations are now sturdy enough for complex outside software.
