Insurance Giant Aon Nears $17 Billion Purchase of USI

Aon, a large insurance broker, is close to buying USI Insurance Services for about $17 billion. USI runs 140 U.S. offices and takes in over $1 billion a year. Investment firms bought USI in 2017 for $4.3 billion. The deal isn't done — the price or timing could still change.
