One Nation wins its first seat in WA parliament

One Nation's Luke Herdegen has won the WA seat of Secret Harbour — the party's first-ever seat in the state's lower house. After preferences (redistributed votes), he led 57–43, overturning Labor's comfortable lead. The by-election followed minister Paul Papalia's retirement.
