Vijay Pande, who built Andreessen Horowitz's health investing team into nearly $4 billion, left in June 2025 and co-founded VZVC. The firm makes only a few investments per year, has no junior staff, and uses AI heavily to run itself. VZVC is now raising its first fund, targeting AI and consumer health.
