Himalayan Floods Leave 669 Dead and Nearly 3,000 Missing

Four days after sudden floods tore through Nepal and Tibet, nearly 3,000 people are still missing — 2,426 in Nepal and 554 in Tibet, including 540 foreigners. Nepal has found 669 bodies; some were carried by the water all the way into India. A wall of ice collapsed in Tibet, sending a river flooding into Nepal and wiping out whole villages.
