Thieves Smash Case and Steal Royal Diamond Necklace From Vienna Museum

Two men bought tickets to a Vienna museum, smashed a glass display case with a hammer, and ran off with a huge diamond necklace once worn by an Egyptian queen at her daughter's 1939 wedding. It sold for $4.3 million in 2015. No one was hurt. Police shared security photos; Austrian media think a hired gang did it. The show is closed for now.
