Bluesky Now Lets You Stop Your Posts from Going Viral

On August 27, 2026, Bluesky added a setting that keeps your posts out of its Discover feed, the list of suggested posts the app shows to people who don't already follow you. Your posts remain public to anyone who looks, but fewer strangers will see them. Bluesky said "not everyone using the site wants to go viral." The setting can take up to an hour to work.
