First Arrest in Killing of TikTok Star César Gastélum

Mexican police arrested the first suspected shooter in the murder of TikTok star César Gastélum during a raid in Puebla. One suspect died and two were held. Gastélum, with over 600,000 followers, was shot dead by two helmeted motorcyclists while broadcasting live in Culiacán on August 4, 2026. A leader of a drug gang called CJNG was separately arrested.
