Millions of Airport Customers' Information Stolen in Hack

On 27 August 2026, Manchester Airport Group said someone broke into its computer systems and took data from about 8.7 million customers at Manchester, Stansted, and East Midlands airports. The stolen information includes emails, phone numbers, car registrations, and postcodes from wifi sign-ups, parking, and lounge bookings. The company said no payment details or airport safety were affected.
