Cyberattack on Manchester Airport Group Exposes Data of 8.7 Million Customers

Manchester Airport Group disclosed on 27 August 2026 that an unauthorised third party obtained data from approximately 8.7 million customers across Manchester, Stansted, and East Midlands airports. Compromised records include emails, phone numbers, vehicle registrations, and postcodes from wifi sign-ups, parking, and lounge bookings. MAG stated no payment details, passenger safety, or airport operations were affected.
