AI Company Anthropic Bets Over $60 Billion on Computing Power

Since April 2026, AI company Anthropic has agreed to spend over $60 billion on computing power from six partners, including Amazon, Google, SpaceX, AMD, Volta, and Nscale. The combined deals provide enough power to run massive AI systems. Most of it becomes available in late 2027 or later, betting that demand for AI services will grow fast enough to use it all.
