Dallas startup Actinide Inc. has produced a type of enriched uranium needed for advanced nuclear reactors. An independent lab confirmed the material's purity at 15.38%. Every previous American producer of this fuel was a government agency. The Department of Energy says no domestic supplier currently has any available.
