Dallas Startup Actinide Becomes First Private Company to Produce HALEU

Actinide Inc., a Dallas startup, announced it has produced high-assay low-enriched uranium assayed at 15.38% U-235 by an independent ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab. Every prior U.S. calutron operator has been a federal entity. The material was produced in research quantities on Actinide's first-generation electromagnetic separator. The DOE says zero HALEU is available from domestic suppliers.
