Gold prices rose about 13% in under a month, from $4,105 to $4,680.70 on August 24 — a three-month high. Prices dipped August 25 as borrowing costs and oil prices climbed. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh speaks Friday at the Jackson Hole conference (Aug. 27–29).
