Asus's new Xbox gaming handheld costs $1,300 on its own

Asus priced the ROG Xbox Ally X20 handheld at $1,300, no longer requiring a $2,500 bundle that included AR glasses. Pre-orders are open at Best Buy and Asus's website; shipping starts October 15. The limited-edition device — the first in the Ally line with a vivid OLED screen and more precise joysticks — costs $300 more than the $1,000 Xbox Ally X, which Asus still sells.
