Asus priced the standalone ROG Xbox Ally X20 at $1,300, removing the prior $2,500 AR glasses bundle requirement. Pre-orders are open at Best Buy and Asus's online store; shipping starts October 15. The limited-edition handheld — first ROG Ally with a 7.4-inch OLED panel and TMR joysticks — costs $300 more than the $1,000 Xbox Ally X, which Asus continues to sell.
