
Reno Wildfire Forces Far More People From Their Homes
About 42,000 people near Reno have left home or been told to leave as the Bug and Fred Mountain Fires near the city. That is seven times the 6,000 displaced when Governor Joe Lombardo declared a state of emergency on August 10. Another 45,000 have been warned they may need to leave. Six people are hurt. Gusty, shifting winds are spreading the fires.
