Reno Wildfire Displacement Grows Sevenfold Since Emergency Declaration

Roughly 42,000 Reno-area residents are displaced or under evacuation orders as the Bug and Fred Mountain Fires bear down on the city, up from 6,000 when Governor Joe Lombardo declared a state of emergency on August 10. Another 45,000 face evacuation warnings. Six people are injured. Windy, unpredictable weather is driving the fire's spread.
