MP breaks ranks to say gambling ad ban on footy jerseys is too soft

Liberal MP Andrew Wallace voted against his own party on a ban for gambling ads on sports jerseys — not because it's too strict, but too weak. The ban lets existing deals run until 2032. Wallace wanted a two-year deadline. Crossbench senator David Pocock says five years is excessive.
