Robot Runs Faster Than the Fastest Human at Beijing Games

A robot named Tianzhuo ran 100 metres in 9.39 seconds at Beijing's World Humanoid Robot Games, faster than Usain Bolt's human record of 9.58 seconds set in 2009. A Chinese robotics company built Tianzhuo. Media reported the time but it was not officially checked under real race rules. The event also includes robot boxing, football, and household tasks.
