Apple Lets Go Siri Engineers as It Builds a Smarter Assistant

Apple cut about 100 jobs on its Siri team, mostly engineers who built the original voice assistant, Bloomberg reported. The company said the next Siri, powered by a new kind of AI that understands language more like a person does, needs different skills. Apple is hiring for that instead.
