Catholic Schools NSW boss fired over corruption watchdog's political donation claims
Catholic Schools NSW fired CEO Dallas McInerney after the corruption watchdog ICAC alleged he secretly sent $265,900 in public education money to firms lobbying for the Liberal Party, disguised as consulting fees. ICAC said wiping his work phone and iPad weeks after learning of the probe was "a transparent attempt to wipe evidence." McInerney denies wrongdoing.
