A 16-year-old who can't eat food faces a $50,000 bill nobody owns
Bryn Skyes, 16, has been fed through a tube since he was a baby. The children's hospital covered the cost; adult care will not. The government subsidises his formula, but only for kids under 10. His mum asked the disability agency for help in January. Still no answer. The gap is $50,000 a year. Nobody will say who pays.
