A 16-year-old who has never eaten food faces a $50,000 gap as every system passes the buck

Bryn Skyes, 16, has been tube-fed since infancy. Queensland's children's hospital covered his food; now he is transitioning to adult care where it will not be covered. His formula is on the PBS but only for children under 10. His mother's NDIS request, lodged January, remains unanswered. The estimated gap: $50,000 a year. Nobody will say who fills it.
