Biotech Startups Top TechCrunch's 2026 List of Most Promising New Companies

TechCrunch published its 2026 list of the 200 most promising early-stage startups on August 20, covering fields like AI, health, finance, robotics, and consumer technology. Biotech and drug companies form the largest group, with 16 entries — more than agriculture, automotive, and cybersecurity combined. These startups will present at a San Francisco conference, October 13–15, competing for a $100,000 prize and trophy.
